Rules The races will be governed by the rules defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS). No advertising may be displayed pursuant to ISAF Regulation 20.6.4. The Sailing Instructions will take precedence in case of conflict. This changes RRS 63.7.

Eligibility		 This event is open to MC scows whose skippers have completed registration and paid the required fees by close of registration. Trophy age requirements must be met before the first scheduled race. (Pay your MCSA dues via credit card and save $5 off entry fee.)

Scoring The USSA Appendix A Low-Point scoring system will be used with no throw-outs. This changes RRS A2. While five races are scheduled, one race will constitute a regatta.

Registration Boat registration is $50. MCSA members get a $5 discount during online registration only - through Sep 30. Fee includes dinner and 1 T-shirt for skipper.

  • CLSA offers an on-site campground for tents and electric hookup for RVs. Hot showers available in clubhouse. Please, no dogs.
  • Cowan Lake State Park offers a campground with swim beach, also cabins with heat and air. Advanced reservations required for cbins.

Directions Cowan Lake State Park - Cowan Lake near Wilmington, Ohio. Enjoy 700 acres of beautiful, pristine, undeveloped Cowan Lake. A sailing and fishing lake with a 10 hp motor limit (no wake). The fall colors typically peak around regatta time with air and water temperatures in 70s. Directions can be found at the CLSA web site.
