Arrowhead YC and MC Fleet #53 invite you to the
2010 Lake Winnebago Regatta
September 10 - 12, 2010
Venue Arrowhead Yacht Club, 396 N Winnebago Dr., Lake Winnebago, MO. Lake Winnebago is a southern suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. It is only 8 hours from Dallas and 8 hours from Chicago.
Rules The races will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS). No advertising may be displayed pursuant to ISAF Regulation 20.6.4. The Sailing Instructions will take precedence in case of conflict. This changes RRS 63.7.
Entries and
Eligibility		 This event is open to MC scows whose skippers have completed registration and paid the required fees by close of registration. Trophy age requirements must be met before the first scheduled race. (Pay your MCSA dues via credit card and save $5 off entry fee.)
Registration Regatta registration will be $55 per boat. MCSA Members get $5 discount during on-line registration.

This fee includes:

Scoring USSA Appendix A using the Low-Point scoring system. A minimum of one race constitutes a regatta. If six races or more are sailed, one throw-out will be awarded. This changes RRS A2.

At Lake Winnebago, we know the social side of sailing is as important as the racing. Our goal is to have as much fun off the water as on the water. The "Regatta Kickoff Party" will be held Friday night at the Arrowhead Yacht Club with an International theme, buffet and band. Tickets are $18.00 per person. For those interested, the Arrowhead Yacht Club's Smokin' on the Point Barbeque Contest will begin that evening with judging on Saturday morning.

Lunch will be served Saturday on the Yacht Club patio and will include meat from the contest winners. The cost will be $7.00 per person.

Saturday night we'll serve FAMOUS KC RIBS immediately following racing, courtesy of Winnebago Skippers!

Trophies will be presented Sunday during Sunday Brunch at the Yacht Club.  This brunch is a buffet with all the standard brunch fare including an omelet bar.  The cost for brunch is $13.00 per person.

All prices include tax and gratuity.

Housing If you would like to stay on the lake, housing is available. There are also a few hotel/motels within 15 minutes of the lake. For housing information, please contact Dave Brown (816 537-6334).
Facilities We have a large parking lot and two boat ramps so you can dry sail if you want. Spectator boats will be available for any non-sailing regatta participants.
