Rules The races will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS). Racing Rules will be changed as follows:
  • All races will be scored except there will be one throw out if six races are sailed. This changes Appendix A2.
  • A boat intending to protest must notify the RC as soon as possible after finishing. This changes RRS 61.
  • RRS A11 is changed to assign finish places to boats not finishing within the time limit of two points more than the last boat to finish on time.
  • RRS 26 is changed to allow Code Flag C to be used at the start without repetitive sounds.
  • RRS 44.1 and RRS 44.2 are changed for E-scows so that only one penalty turn, including one tack and one gybe, is required.
  • The Sailing Instructions may also change other racing rules.
E-Scows will be required to race with Float Paks at the top of the mast.
Eligibility This event is open to skippers of E and MC scows and Lasers who file a proper entry form and pay the entry fee before the skippers meeting.

Registration Registration fee includes; 4 meal tickets for E scows, and 1 meal ticket for MC scows and Lasers. Meals include breakfast,lunches and Saturday's dinner with open bar. Bottled water, beer and chips will also be provided after races each day. Additional tickets will cost $30.00 for extra crew or guest and will be available at registration.
  • Lasers - $80

Scoring USSA Appendix A using the Low-Point scoring system with one throw out if six races are sailed. This changes RRS A2. Six races are scheduled. One race constitutes a regatta.
Trophies Prizes will be awarded first through fifth depending on size of fleet.
