Aquatic Invasive Species:
Lake Okoboji is currently free of Eurasian Water Milfoil and Zebra Mussels. Our local communities are very active in their efforts to keep these aquatic invaders out of our area lakes, and the Okoboji Yacht Club is a strong supporter of these efforts. Please note that volunteers will be on hand at registration to inspect and power-wash your boats and trailers as you arrive on site. No boats or trailers may be launched for the first time until they have been inspected and washed.

Launching:
This regatta may be dry or wet sailed. A limited number of boat hoists will be available at our OYC docks on a first-come-first-serve basis. Mooring will be available for those interested - please bring 20ft of line, anchor, & buoy. Numbered parking spaces will also be available for dry sailing. Launch by crane or by ramp.

Crew:
Limited crew will be available. We will have a list available at regatta headquarters.

Directions and Lodging: Location of OYC on Lake Okoboji.

If you are interested in lodging, click here for a good listing of local establishments.

Camping:
There will be a limited number of informal areas, (no utilities or sewer), available for overnight RV parking on our grounds. We do have shower facilities. Please contact Brad Farrar if you have any questions.

Alcohol Policy:
The Okoboji Yacht Club maintains a licensed full-service bar onsite. Iowa law requires that all alcohol consumed in the clubhouse, and on our lawn, ramp area, & docks, be served by our establishment. No outside liquor, beer, or wine may be consumed in these areas. Wristbands will be provided to all sailors as part of your registration fee that will entitle you to free keg beer and/or soda throughout the regatta. Extra wristbands will be available for spouses and/or crews for $5.00. Mixed drinks, wine, bottled beer, etc. will also be available at a very reasonable price.

Check out the Okoboji Yacht Club website for more information about this venue.
