MC Board Return Line

It seems like a yearly ritual - replacing the board return shock cord. It worked so well when it came from the factory but now the shock cord has stretched and has lost its ability to quickly pull the board down when released.

Well this year I replaced the line but added Brummell hooks (also known as sister clips) to one side and solved the problem.

When I come in from sailing, and while both boards are still down, I unhook the Brummell hooks. When you are back in the water, release both boards and latch the hooks back together again.
