Two promotional videos are available:

• 1996 Video
  In late 1995, the IMCCSRA Board commissioned an effort by Scott Slocum to create a video tape to promote the MC Class. While this information is now more than 10 years old, it still shows the excitement of sailing the MC. The original VHS tape was converted to MPEG format for viewing with Microsoft's Windows Media Viewer or Apple's QuickTime Viewer. The length is a little over 10 minutes.

  The MPEG file size is 107,722,048 bytes (108 MB) and took less than 5 minutes (278.7 seconds) to download to my cable-connected PC.

  The following table lists corrections and updates to the information presented on the first video. Please print a copy and have available while viewing the video.

• 2005 Video
  In March 2005, Melges Performance Sailboats made available a subset of their videos on sailing the MC. Two versions may be downloaded if you have broadband Internet access (not recommended for dial-up!) They are Windows Media Video files (*.wmv) - use Windows Media Player Version 10 to view these files:
  • MC_Class_Promo_Large.wmv -- 640 by 480 pixel screen size (27,782,686 bytes)

  • MC_Class_Promo_Small.wmv -- 320 by 240 pixel screen size (9,782,152 bytes)
