Connecticut River Dinghy Distance Race

July 20-21, 2019

Venue Pettipaug YC, Great Meadow Road, Essex, CT 06426
Rules The races will be governed by the rules defined in the current Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and scantlings of the MCSA. The Sailing Instructions will take precedence in case of conflict. This changes RRS 63.7.
Eligibility This regatta will feature a long distance race spanning 7-10 miles of the Connecticut river on August 3rd. On Sunday August 4th there will be a short course "around the buoys race" at the Pettipaug Yacht Club.

While the Connecticut river dinghy race is no longer being held, the Saturday distance race will duplicate that by including a tow up the river at 10am at Eagle Landing, Haddam CT, for  Noon start.

The regatta is open to all MC skippers.
A boat may sail with a different sail number from its hull number if it registers with that sail number and competes with that number for the entire event.
