1. Rules
1.1 The regatta will be governed by The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS). Appendix S will apply. 1.2 RRS 641 is changed to allow certain MC class rules to govern 1.3 RRS 63.7 is replaced with: “If there is a conflict between a rule in the notice of race and one in the sailing instructions, the sailing instructions shall apply.”

2. Eligibility and Entry
2.1 The regatta is open to all MC Scows

3. Registration Fees

3.1 The required fees are $125.00 3.2 The fee includes breakfast and lunch each day for one. Also, includes one Friday night dinner and one regatta tee shirt. Please register early as we cannot guarantee t-shirts will be available for late registration.

3.4 Early Registration closes Friday, June 14th. At 2300 hours
3.5 Late Registration Fee $135.00
3.6 Extra Friday Night Dinner Tickets are $20.00
3.7 Extra T-Shirts (if available) are $20.00

4. Schedule
Thursday June 27-
1200 - 1600 Melges MC Clinic
1700 - 1900 Check In, and Late Registration at Sailing Clubhouse

Friday June 28 –
0900 - 1000 Check in and Late Registration.
1030 Contestant’s Meeting
1200 First Warning Signal, Four (4) races are scheduled. Dinner social to follow racing.

Saturday June 29 –
1030 First warning signal.
No new Warning signal after 1500
Awards and Keg Social to follow racing.
One race constitutes a regatta.

5. Sailing Instructions
5.1 Sailing Instructions will be available at check-in.

6. Venue
The racing area will be on the Green Island or Normandy Beach Courses.

7. Courses

The courses used will be windward/leeward.

8. Scoring
The low point scoring system of Appendix A will apply.

9. Support Boats
9.1 Support boats will as prescribed in the Sailing Instructions.

10. Prizes
10.1 Awards will be made commensurate with the number of registrants.

11. Responsibility for Safety
Sailing is an activity that has an inherent risk of damage and injury. Competitors in this event are participating entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The organizers (organizing authority, race committee, protest committee, host club, sponsors, and any other organization or official) will not be responsible for damage to any boat or other property or the injury to any competitor, including death, sustained as a result of participation in this event. By participating in this event, each competitor agrees to release the race officers from any and all liability associated with such competitor’s participation in this event to the fullest extent permitted by law.

12. Parking
The Mantoloking Yacht Club is an active club. Parking will be made available for trailers and cars at the Direction of the on-site regatta volunteers. Please follow their instructions as not to hinder normal club operations.
