The 23rd Anniversary Cow Town Classic
May 4-5, 2019

Join us for the first leg of the coveted Ohio Championship Trophy!
Hoover SC, 4250 Smothers Rd, Westerville, OH. (a sailing & fishing lake with 10 hp limit = no wake!)

Our fleet members are opening up their homes to provide limited free local housing.
Saturday Dinner will be a "grill your own steak" event so you can get it the way you like it.

Boat registration is $60 ($55 if MCSA Member. Please login to your MSCA account and then register to receive the discount.)
Fee includes lunch, dinner, and beer on Saturday, and breakfast, lunch on Sunday for Skipper.
Order additional meals during online registration.
  Extra Lunch is $6.00 each
  Extra Dinner is $15.00 each

Rules, Scoring &
The races will be governed by the rules defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS).
The Sailing Instructions will take precedence in case of conflict. This changes RRS 63.7.

The Low Point System, RRS A4, will apply, except that each boat's total score will be the sum of her scores for all races. This changes RRS A2. A minimum of one race constitutes a regatta.

  • Top five (5) Overall (any age, male, female, or profession)
  • Top Masters
  • Top Grand Master
  • Top Mega Master 
We request that each participant declare his or her division at the time of registration. Only one award per sailor. Awards per divisions registered by May 4th
 Radio Use Bring your VHF Radio. Flags will be the primary means of communication on the water but the race committee will attempt to make radio contact in regard to OCSs, weather issues, safety concerns, and other actions of the race committee when clarification might be helpful to the competitors.

  • Motels - many options available. Check on-line. We recommend those at the Polaris Parkway/I71 exit, a 10-15 minute drive from the venue.
