2019 Lake Davenport Sailing Club Polar Bear Regatta is CANCELLED due to high river current!!!
We're sorry to announce the CANCELLATION of the 2019 Polar Bear Regatta. The river is rising fast and so is the current. River level forecasts put the height way above anything we recommend for sailing. So unfortunately, we will be unable to sail safely in these conditions. Any pre-paid registrations or meal fees will be refunded.

Rules, Entries
& Eligibility |
The races will be governed by the rules defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS) and the official Class Rules of the C Scow and MC Scow classes. The Sailing Instructions will take precedence in case of conflict. This changes RRS 63.7.
This event is open to C & MC scows whose skippers have completed registration and
paid the required fees by close of registration. Trophy age requirements must be met before the first scheduled race. |

The USSA Appendix A Low-Point scoring system. This changes RRS A2. While five races are scheduled, one race will constitute a regatta.
