Rules The races will be governed by the rules defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS). The Sailing Instructions will take precedence in case of conflict. This changes RRS 63.7.

Eligibility This event is open to MC scows whose skippers have completed registration and paid the required fees by close of registration.

  1000 Skippers meeting


First Gun of first race.


1 long distance race from PYC to Essex Harbor and back (PRO will determine if this happens or not), followed by:

Buoy races.  Each race either one or two upwind legs, wind dependent.  Finish may be up wind or down wind to be determined by the race PRO. 

The goal is to get 4 to 6 races in.

  6 pm  Dinner at PYC Club House

Awards ceremony at PYC Club House at 6pm.

Boat registration is $50 .  Pay at the event.
At PYC “Tiki Hut” prior to 10:00 am
Additional Guest fee is $25 


- Boat sandwich and snack will be provided.  Bring your own  water bottle

- Après Sail with adult beverages and hors d’oeuvres after racing. 

Cancellations accepted to Friday Sept 30. 

Scoring USSA Appendix A using the Low-Point scoring system. Six races are scheduled with no throw outs. This changes RRS A2. A minimum of one race constitutes a regatta. One throw out if 6 races are completed. 
Trophies for overall 1st – 4th, with no additional categories for women, youth, master, grand master, etc. Presented at catered Dinner at PYC Tiki Hut .
